The Strawberry Patch in Kealakekua

This is a beautiful space and the food was good though the green curry we ordered was listed as spicy and it was not at all. Also a little disillusioned to see Kirkland brand honey offered with the tea.

Great place to eat. Definitely call ahead to make reservations, their hours of operation only allow for so many customers. Meals were delicious, my wife and I ate gluten free two different times there while on the Big Island. Definitely worth a visit. We loved the flourless cake, gluten free pasta (meatballs were hand made and had gluten in them).

Delicious food and helpful and nice servers. During our 2 week stay in Kona we came here at least 3 times. And we will come again.

Excellent appetizers and salads! Be sure to bring your own wine. Beautiful food presentations. A little short on atmosphere.

What a gem! We had an amazing dinner here with delicious appetizers and great curries. There is great patio seating as well as lots of space indoors. Service was wonderful and welcoming. We will 100% be back and recommend to family.

Really fresh food with a creative menu.

Really average Italian food. Disappointing because this place was recommended to us... but we have far better Italian cuisine in Sydney Australia. So over priced too.

Cutest little place! You can tell they really take the time to make your food pretty and it's really tasty too. We were in a hurry and everything came out fast and hot and beautiful.

We had our wedding catered by Amelia, and was a little nervous since we were doing a destination wedding and could not do a tasting in advance due to our time constraints. She definitely exceeded our wildest expectations, the food was amazing, her staff was very professional and kind. Our guests can't stop talking about the food, my maid of honor's boyfriend said it was his favorite part of his whole week in Hawaii! We definitely recommend her catering!

Great food, especially the Day's Special bruschetta mushroom pate! We loved our waitress. The kids loved their pasta, and had plenty of leftovers for the next day.

Great place for lunch or dinner. They have a limited menu, but the good quality is excellent. The desserts are huge and to die for. I will go again.

Delicious food! The lumch menu changes daily per the preferences of the chef. Great service and a very cute atmosphere. Will definitely be returning. The desserts are also delicious and are homemade everyday!

This place is a gem. Definitely recommend, such a cute date night spot. I’m vegan and my husband isn’t but there were delicious options for both of us. I had such good curry and his pizza he said was one of the best he’s ever had. Even the herbal tea was incredible! Our only critique would be adding fresh strawberries to top the strawberry shortcake dessert. We will definitely be back!

Just ate here less than an hour ago- hands down the best restaurant we've been to on the island. While the exterior is unassuming (quaint, cutesy and modest), interior was welcoming and cozy. We had no idea what to expect. The food, presentation, service, and attention to detail far exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a gourmet meal for an affordable price, look no further. We LOVED every bit of it and we'll be back soon.

Farm to table FRESHHH! Dishes were hot and the ingredients were locally sourced and notably fresh and clean. Vegan options available too! I recommend you call ahead for reservations as the restaurant is cozy and quaint with a charming and cheery atmosphere. Limited seating in door with some seating outdoor, which can get chilly. 👍🏼👍🏼Two thumbs up for sure!!

Incredible food. We had a 4 top and did it family style with 4 entrees, including the fish special, a salad special, the Mac and cheese, and shrimp pasta. All were well executed and nicely plated. Over all, the quality of ingredients and care of preparation lead to a wonderful taste experience.

Just off the highway, the Strawberry Patch is a healthy and fresh place to stop for a meal. The food was great and service was genuine. It was worth the stop.

I’m so happy to have learned of this place. From the moment I walked in and smelled the garlic, I was smitten. I’ve never described a menu this way, but it’s friendly. By that I mean the way it’s written. It’s accommodating and welcoming. That attitude and friendliness was evident throughout the evening. I shared the cheese soufflé dip and had the chicken piccata as my entree. Superb. I can’t wait to return and to share this little spot with friends.

Ordered soup of the day - English clam chowder and it was delicious. Also had the green curry which was amazing! Does claim to be spicy (for spicy lovers it is not). Best food on the island we’ve experienced so far. Atmosphere is cute and romantic. Highly recomend!

The absolute epitome of service. This is a BYOB restaurant so be advised for those who want a drink no, you must bring your own. I can't say enough good things about the servers or the quality of the food. Highly recommended.

Had the best culinary experience ever! Food and service was both amazing. They use really fresh ingredients. The place can be a bit hard to find if you are visiting for the first time at night due to poor visibility, so keep an eye out for it!

Sweet little place, very good food. I had the red curry with chicken and husband had fettuccine with clams. He had a few shell fragments in his meal, but clams tend to have that side to them.Make a reservation!

Our server Bryan was amazingly accommodating and attentive to our healthy dietary needs. My wife's birthday dinner was extremely satisfying.-- Super customizing the brie platter to be just brie, fruits, nuts and lovely roasted garlic. -- the yellow curry was super tasty. Great time here!

The service and food at Strawberry Patch is always excellent. It's a must-visit everytime I go back to the Big Island. The mac and cheese and baked brie are my favorites, and the beet salad is scrumptious. The patio is nice, but there is substantial traffic noise. The interior is adorable and serene.Don't forget to bring your own wine to accompany your delicious dinner!

The last several years I've made it a point of eating there. Previously I Had the salmon and shrimp pasta...absolute ab fantastic.This time I choose the lamb and pasta.It should have been labeled pasta in lamb sauce.You needed a magnifying glass to see any pasta...Next year I'll go back to what I know is ggod

Strawberry patch was perfect. They were warm and welcoming. The clam linguini, sweet beet salad, and brie apple pizza tasted fresh and delicious. The decor is eclectic and comfortable. Altogether outstanding.
